Anne is a long-time Valley exec turned passionate startup advocate. As head of Marketing & Brand at Google she led the creation of the employment brand, the codification of culture and helped drive the global expansion from 3000 employees to 20,000. Her work with the people analytics helped transform internal communications, and ensured that the true culture of Google would scale and thrive. Anne took her expertise and audacity to the Valley’s startup scene; specializing in strategy and product market fit she managed successful pivots, new market entrance and scale for platforms like Ning (founded by Marc Andreessen) and Dwolla, as well as advisory roles with Flutterwave and BBVA for fintech and payments innovation.
Most recently Anne has joined Launch Pad as President and CEO to create a global network of world-class shared spaces, and bring her passion for startups and scaling culture to entrepreneurial communities around the world. As an extension of her work she leads a gathering of startup ecosystem leaders with Web Summit, is a spokesperson for the Women in Tech movement, and believes that the only way to really understand and support global innovation is to show up and have an impact.
