In the network age, there are two independent players in an organisation: The company and the employee. Managing talent has shifted from the old employment model that offers perks to employees in exchange for working diligently to something more dynamic. It has been termed by some school of thought as “an alliance, a mutually beneficial deal” between the independent players.
